The bearing lubricating oil is dark black, rich in foam and has emulsified phenomenon. It is grinded with fingers without stickiness, astringency or odor. It is dark brown on the white test paper, and there are no yellow infiltration areas or black spots. If it is not replaced in time, it will accelerate the wear of parts, affect the service life, and even cause safety accidents. Therefore, it is particularly important to check whether the lubricating oil has deteriorated and replace it in time.

There are some identification methods as follows:

1.Oil flow observation method

Take two measuring cups, one of which contains the lubricant to be inspected, and the other empty on the table. Lift the measuring cup filled with lubricant 30-40 cm away from the table and tilt it to let the lubricant slowly flow to the empty cup. Observe the flow condition. The flow of good quality lubricating oil should be slender, uniform, and continuous. If the flow of oil appears to be fast or slow, and sometimes a large piece of oil flows down, it indicates that the lubricating oil has deteriorated.

2.Hand twist method

Twist the lubricating oil between the thumb and index finger and repeatedly grind. The better lubricating hand feels lubricity, less abrasive debris, and no friction. If you feel a large friction like sand between the fingers, it indicates that the lubricating oil There are many impurities in it and it can't be used any more, so it should be replaced with new lubricant.

3.Lighting method

On sunny days, use a screwdriver to lift up the lubricant at a 45-degree angle to the horizontal. In contrast to sunlight, observe the oil droplets. Under the light, you can clearly see that there is no wear debris in the lubricant. It is good to continue to work. If there is too much wear, the lubricant should be replaced.

4.Oil drop trace method

Take a clean white filter test paper, drip a few drops of oil on the filter test paper, after the lubricant leaks, if there is black powder on the surface, if you touch it with your hands, it means that there are many impurities in the lubricant, good The lubricating oil is powder-free, dry and smooth to the touch, with yellow marks.
